Taci Shaw 

Taci Shaw has served as an educator for 23 years. She has served as a general education teacher, special education teacher, evaluation coordinator, special education coordinator, and Assistant Principal. She has been employed with DCPS for the past 13 years and is excited about her 4th year serving as the Assistant Principal at Hendley Elementary School.

 

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Delaware State University. She holds a master's degree in Leadership in Education from the University of Notre Dame Maryland. In addition, she received a Certificate of Management and Leadership in Education from Harvard University.  She is currently enrolled in the Leadership and Innovation Program at Georgetown University.

 

Her passion is working with students. She loves and enjoys building relationships with both students and their families. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to watch her daughter play softball, listening to music, and training Brazilian jiu jitsu.
